a) Infants (Strictly Not Recommended)
Due to safety (choking hazard + lanyard), atovio X must not be used on infants.
b) Individuals With Pacemakers, ICDs, or Implanted Cardiac Devices
atovio X generates a mild electric field via its ion emitter and conductive lanyard.
People with:
- Pacemakers
- ICDs
- Neurostimulators
- Any electrical cardiac/neurological implant
must not use Atovio.
This is a global safety precaution used by all ion-based personal purifiers.
c) Pregnant Women
atovio X is not yet clinically tested for pregnancy-specific safety, so we do not recommend usage during pregnancy.
d) Individuals With Heart Conditions (But No Implant)

How is atovio X different from a regular wearable air purifier?
atovio X combines personal air purification with smart connectivity. It connects to the atovio app, allowing you to access device activity data and enable Airshift Mode for automated operation.
What is Airshift Mode?
Airshift Mode is the smart operating mode of atovio X. When enabled through the Atovio app, the device can automatically switch between Normal, Turbo, and Off modes based on operating conditions and wear detection.
Can I use atovio X without the mobile app?
Yes. You can operate atovio X using its physical button and manually switch between available operating modes. However, features such as Airshift Mode activation and Wear Sensitivity adjustment require the atovio app.
Is atovio X suitable for everyday use?
atovio X is designed to be worn during everyday activities, including commuting, travelling, working, and spending time outdoors. Follow the product manual for correct wearing, charging, and usage instructions.
Does atovio X require filter replacements?
atovio X uses its designated air purification technology. Please refer to the product specifications and maintenance instructions to confirm whether any components require periodic replacement.
Can I use one atovio with more than one phone?
Yes, atovio remembers up to 3 phones, but connects to one at a time. If a fourth phone pairs, one of the earlier phones is forgotten and has to pair again.
What is Airshift Mode, and how do I activate it?
Airshift Mode can be activated through the atovio app under My Device. Once enabled, atovio X automatically manages its operating state according to the supported conditions and wear detection. It remains active until you disable it through the app.
Will Airshift Mode remain enabled if I switch the device off and on?
Yes. If Airshift Mode is still enabled in the app, switching the device off and on will allow it to resume Airshift Mode.
What does Wear Sensitivity change?
It sets how much movement switches AirShift to Turbo. Steady needs more movement; Sensitive reacts to small movements. Press and hold a preset to save your current setting as that preset.
Can I manually control the operating mode?
Yes. You can use the physical button to control the device and select the available manual operating modes, including Normal and Turbo. Airshift Mode can be enabled or disabled through the app.
How do I pair my atovio X with the app?
Open the app, go to the Device tab and tap Add device. Choose your atovio model and allow Bluetooth when asked. Hold the button on your atovio for 5 seconds until its four lights blink one after another, then tap your atovio in the list and accept the pairing request on your phone.
Do I need a PIN or code to pair?
No. Pairing is secure but needs no PIN. Just accept the pairing request your phone shows.
My device switches off even when I want it to keep running. Why?
If Airshift Mode is enabled, the device may automatically switch between Normal, Turbo, and Off according to its operating conditions and wear detection. If you prefer direct control, disable Airshift Mode in the app and use the available manual controls.
atovio X is not responding to the physical button. What should I do?
Check the battery level and charge the device if necessary. Once charged, try operating the button again according to the instructions in the product manual. If the device remains unresponsive, contact customer support rather than attempting to open or repair it yourself.
What should I do if my atovio X appears to have a technical fault?
Stop using the device if it shows signs of physical damage, unusual heating, or battery malfunction. Do not dismantle or attempt to repair it yourself. Contact atovio customer support for assistance.
